This month is flying by and has actually been relatively quiet on the old blogging front as my website TLM Edit has been taking up a lot of time as you guys have been amazingly supportive and making quite a few purchases. I am on average making two trips to the post office a day which in some minds eye is a huge burden, but when my Shopify app peeps with a new transaction, I can’t really complain!
So what has caught my eye this month….
Aromatherapy Massage with Jenny James
I was lucky to have one of the famous Jenny James Aromatherapy massages last week. Despite having a fantastic reputation, I didn’t pin any hopes on it being amazing as I am mega fussy about massages. But oh, I should have as she exceeded expectations.
She mixed the most gorgeous oils just for me after a quick questionnaire and then got to work quickly and my massage. Wow, was she strong and brilliant (I dislike a feeble massage!) Excuse the cliche but I learnt about muscles I didn’t know existed and even learn a few methods for relaxing your jaw (if you are a subconscious clencher like me.) She also does pregnancy, post natal and baby massage so if you want to unwind and feel great, head to her to be assured that she will sort you out!
Simply Be very kindly gave me a £100 voucher to buy a few bits for the summer. I went for a Navy & White beach bag, a black swimming costume, Pom Pom sandals and a navy blue long skirt. You can check out their holiday collection here.
Handmade Sweatshirts from Colour Attic
Rebecca makes leopard and contrast colour sweatshirts from her little cottage. I love this red one but also had my eye on the yellow as a little nod to this seasons most popular colour. She is a real craftswoman and if you are in the running for a new sweater, please head to her website (if in doubt go for the grey!)! x
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, Leila Raifiei makes Breastfeeding covers in lovely fabrics, perfect for the summer when it is too hot to layer!
Cocoa Brown One Hour Tan Mouse
When I tried this and it looked great, I was surprised that it was only £9.99! You apply it with a pink mitt that comes with the mouse and was it for the tan to develop before you wash it off. It is pretty fool proof and shows that you don’t have to buy anything too expensive for it to be good.
We stumbled on Chicama after a spot of late night shopping this week and couldn’t believe our luck that we managed to get a table as it was rammed. On first impressions it is a seafood restaurant but it is actually Peruvian inspired. Do you know what Peruvian food is like? No, neither did I but I urge you to go here on a date night with friends and get a few sharing plates – especially the Ceviche. It was phenomenal and the staff are lovely too!
Woman & Home Feature – June Edition
Very excitingly I was featured in Woman & Home June Edition talking about our families stance on children and the amount of screen time we allow, if any at all! We were smack bang in the middle…
There are some new clubs for half term over on ‘What’s On’ and there are also a few new entries in the Directory.
Do email me if you would like a mention!
Hope you have a lovely day and are enjoying the sunshine. If you need a beach cover up, I have that covered here
xx
