London Property Management

One look at Amelia’s smart and concise website, A & L Property Solutions, would entice any homeowner who has a property that needs to be let or managed, to enlist her to do it for them. Her website is an extension of her professionalism and her background in property gives her the experience to take the pain, time and paperwork and do it all for you. She will find trustworthy and professional tenants and manage to process from start to finish.

Amelia has many years of experience in the industry. Her entrepreneurial mother has a property portfolio, so she has always helped find her tenants and manage properties from a very young age. At the end of University, she worked as a property stylist in Central London, which gave her a fantastic insight into what tenants wanted, before finally moving into residential agency.

After she had children, she decided to use her resources and set up on her own.
Thank goodness she did. London needs a personal service with someone who you can trust implicitly – and Amelia is just that.

London Carpenter & Craftsman

There are some numbers you need on speed dial and Lance’s is one of them. He is an exceptional wood craftsman who can turn his hand to anything, whether it’s a house, a boat or a camper-van! He will make what you require to a very high specification – quickly and efficiently. He can source the wood, make it and paint it to your requirements. Carpenter & Craftsman.

Here is a list of things he is able to do – image

  • Wooden Flooring
  • Paneling
  • Cupboards
  • Tree houses
  • Fences
  • Bin Storage
  • Skirting
  • Decking
  • Children’s Beds
  • Bespoke Cornicing
  • Built in benches

Lance has been building things from a young age. He used to help his Grandfather making things as he was growing up and this natural ability shines through in his work.

He is also a pleasure to have around the house, working discreetly and tidily. Having two young children of his own, he understands the necessity to clear up after himself and I guarantee he will also raise a few smiles from your young ones.

The Puppet Barge

I highly recommend a visit to The Puppet Barge on Regent’s Canal, near Little Venice. It is a quaint barge permanently situated on the river that delivers traditional tales to all ages using puppets on a little stage.  We went to see Town Mouse and Country Mouse which was charming.

The staff are so welcoming and accommodated our antsy 2 year old ducking and diving through the boat (I wouldn’t recommend taking one so young – the age guide is there for a reason).

There is plentiful parking next door to the barge, and if you are a bit peckish afterwards, head over the bridge to the Waterside Cafe

Book now for Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby, suitable for 3 and over on in April and May.

Clip ‘n Climb: Indoor Climbing Adventure

Clip n’ Climb does exactly what it says on the tin. You get clipped in to a harness and according to your age and experience are shown a wall in which is suitable to climb and then left to your own devices. The introduction made my 4 year old feel so at ease that he sailed up the wall – and came back down – with no problems, only to be eager to do it again and again until his hour had expired.

H going up!

H going up!

H coming down!

H coming down!

For the more intrepid there is a huge wall and vertical slide!

It is a genius idea set in a huge warehouse of the New Kings Road in Chelsea. It has been so successful, the owners are considering starting a snow dome for indoor skiing next door. Why hadn’t I tried Clip n’ Climb before? Because I didn’t fancy it – but now we are converts, I might even have my own party there!
