‘Wakey Wakey Mr Goat’ enthused both boys repeatedly in the car journey home from Clydey Cottages in Wales. It wasn’t annoying as it was spat out with numerous giggles which echoed the wonderful time they had at ‘The Best Farm Stay in Wales’ according to many local and national award bodies.
My holiday mantra since having 3 children (usually defensively as don’t embark on them as frequently as I would like) is ‘same sxxt, different place’. However that was before we went to Clydey which caters for all ages – from the beautiful and well equipped cottage (no need to hike high chair, baby bath, potty and even baby Bjorn with you) to the incredible soft play and play room with sky tv and coffee machine for mummy and daddy to boot.
The essence of Clydey is the animal feeding with farmer Malcolm who patiently manoeuvres all the children around the farm each morning making sure everyone gets a go.
Pay it a visit, you will love it!
