There is nothing more I like doing more than tweaking the interiors of my home, whether it is decluttering (a firm favourite), rearranging a little corner or adding a bit of colour. I have been scouring the world wide web for items that enhance my home without breaking the bank. Although a lot of the good stuff from the summer sales have gone, there is still a lot of good stuff around – especially in the Home & Interiors sections!
La Redoute : Rice Storage Basket £47.20
Whether you need wood for a fire or storage for errant toys, this is smart and sturdy.
Amara : Vinyl Floor Mat £53.90
I first came across these vinyl floor mats in a holiday cottage andI immediately fell in love. They are great to catch the crumbs under the kitchen table or to stop coffee slopping on the carpet under a coffee table.
Anthropologie : Pathfinder Rug £36.95
As a fan of all things bohemian (other than tie dye!) I think this rug is beautiful and it is heavily reduced so now about the same price as you would find in a foreign souk.
Zara : Methacrylate Placemat £9
Nothing like a bit of blue and white to freshen an area up and these methacrylate (like melamine) will do the job.
Marks and Spencer : Set of 4 Duck Egg Tea Towels £12
I do like matching tea towels and this is a great way to smarten up your kitchen, By having two out at a time, there are always spares.
Marks & Spencer : Floor Lamp £94
I don’t know much about how to light a room other than if you mix levels and types of lighting it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. This floor lamp tucked away in a corner behind a chair or sofa would change the dynamics of a room.
Zara : Multicoloured Cotton Blanket £15.99
This would instantly bring colour to a gloomy bedroom and would also look great at a picnic.
Zara : Elephant Rug £9.99
This is very sweet for a nursery and it’s reduced too.
House of Fraser : Weekday Bowl Set £45
Not sure this would be great if you had more than one kid, but fun nonetheless and would look great on the wall too.
Hope you grab some bargains! x
