I had grand plans – and I had already done the infographic (picture for the post) for boys, girls, babies and teens and then life (and Black Friday) happened so I am putting anything child related into one post. Sorry (not sorry actually – I know you understand!) This will be a big post for any kids – lingering Godchildren, nieces, nephews, new babies and not to mention your own children (!) that haven’t been ticked off after this weekends Christmas Extravaganza – then this post is for you. So, basically everyone – because who has all their shopping done by the end of November. Weird people.
I’m not going to categorise into groups either – just to be really 2018 😉
I am super impressed with this new brand. Easy to order and beautifully presented personalised writing cards. A great incentive to write thank you cards after Christmas if they have their own name on them (and you can also choose a symbol at the top too – like cricket stumps – yes that’s what we have!)
If you have an explorer or want to get your kids outside more, choose one of the brilliant Den Kits on offer. Packed with all the necessities for an adventure, it will keep them entertained for hours.
These were so gorgeous. Despite the arguing they caused (as everyone wants the bomb near them in the bath – or is that just us?) they would make great stocking fillers. Just make sure you buy for each child!
It’s quite hard to get a 10+ in matching PJs but you can get the same effect with these pyjama bottoms and a white t shirt. Starting from age 10 to adult – these are a perfect present for a tween & teenage boy!
No not another back pack – a reflective one front and back!!! Genius. Have this for my Godson when he is walking the streets at night 😉
The products in the chemist for teen skin are sometimes too harsh, so if you notice your teenager is in need of a bit of TLC in the skin department, hot foot it over to Spots & Stripes. Cool packaging too so can be put in stocking!
Yes yes I know I am giving myself plug but it would be weird if I didn’t put my township that is geared towards gifts for women and youngsters!! Have a look at the teen or kids section for more ideas.
For a plethora of delightful home furnishing this website is worth a look. I think this blanket would make a lovely baby gift that they would still use when they are teens and beyond!
Whether you like it or not, tech is here to stay and you need to assist your child in knowing the basics. This website has so many ideas and gifts for your kids that will keep them amused whilst also learning the key aspects of science and technology. I like the look of the Creative Coder I am determined that mine will be able to code my websites because there is no hope of me being able to do it!
If you want to try some new games this year, have a look at Clarendon Games. I like Wordsmithery – if you fancy yourself as a linguist or went to broaden the kids vocabulary – give this game a go.
What’s different about this sleep suit is it is made from bamboo wadding for maximum thermoregulation and all-year round comfort. They are cute too!
If they are a fan of risk – they will also love this.
Sometimes personalisation for boys can be a bit twee, but not with Apatchy. Have a look at all their categories including equestrian and sports bags and you will be able to smarten up your kids kit and even include patches of emblems that are special to them.
Oh how do we laugh at our characters in our family Peppa Pig book.Put pig and ginger together and you would love to! ha. Wonderful bonding books not just for the youngest.
A fan of Octavia Hix from the get go, I am delighted to see that this kaftan that my daughter has now grown out of is in the sale, so snapping one up for when it is hotter. Check out their website – some real gems.
It’s hard to choose which pattern as mother of four and designer Caro has such lovely taste. No stocking is complete without her little boxers that go from age 2-10.
A great pre Christmas present or gift to yourself (as they will keep the kids quiet) these Smart Mats have been designed to challenge and occupy kids around the table. Keep them in your bag and when they get itchy feet – resistive iPad and give them a Smart Mat!
Move over gold and red baubles, these personalised ones will give your tree that Scandinavian look and with a personal touch.
If your like experimenting and making this subscription box is worth a look at. It arrived each month with a new experiment and all the parts needed to complete it. The gift that keeps on giving and not just a one day wonder on Christmas Day! Or you can buy a one off – I like the look of this Bake Off one!
You want a certain type of calendar – then Danilo will no doubt have it. I particularly like their Incredibles Family Planning Calendar and also the Star Wars Desk Block Calendar.
If you are at the beginning of your lego journey, might I encourage you to buy one of these super mats to store and play the lego with. It will save you from the ultimate pain – treading on a lego brick when you least expect it!
If you have a thespian in the making who likes to dress up, head over to Mimi & Lula. Oooh so much sparkle and glitter!
If you have a child between 5-11 who is into reading (or not for that matter – it’s a must whether you like it or not?) then this would make a lovely present and spread out the Christmas excitement with a delivery each month.
This is one of my go to brands if I need a gift for a little one. Beautiful quality and a great price – the sweatshirts for mums are pretty handy too!
This is such a stylish and beautiful product from Enfance. We have tried the shampoo and soap (it is on a little ribbon) and it’s a hit with the whole family (despite being recommended for 3-8yr olds). Get some of this on window sill – beats a rubber duck any day!
I hope this has given you some ideas! It certainly has given me renewed hope that I will be able to give lovely gifts whilst also supporting smaller businesses.
Have a great day!
