6 Of The Best : Colour Pop Cashmere Sweaters

Rather than buy 10 cruddy jumpers this season that bobble and shrink after one wear and wash, I am going to buy just one good one… (You can hold me to that). So this means I have  to plan ahead and my first stop is the cashmere jumper.  The new season has conveniently dropped just as the kids go back to school, so get first dibs now whilst you have the time and before the good ones go.

Little Leggies Pastel Cashmere Jumper £145

This jumper exudes femininity and is perfect to show off your end of the summer tan with its mint green and sorbet yellow cuffs against the pretty pale pink.

Tabitha Webb Jett Bolt Jumper £195

The lightning bolt is a good analogy for how I am feeling as I get the kids back to school. Perhaps if I am wearing it, it will calm me down. Lovely biscuit colour with subtle neon contrast.

Wyse London Colour Pop Slouchy V Neck £170

Great for those with darker colouring and slouchy enough to hide any Pimms belly from the summer holidays! (This has me written all over it!)

Cashmere Colour Pop Slouchy v neck - - 1

Cove Cashmere Holly Star Jumper £120

A new take on last seasons popular ‘star’ look. Almost superhero ‘esque’. Sure to be a favourite of your little Billy Bunter!

Chinti & Parker Personalised Letter Cashmere Jumper £350

Choose your letter in either hot pink on navy or white on black. Obviously I would go for PINK…

Cocoa Cashmere Side Zip Curved Hem Jumper £210

Haven’t come across this type of detail before – love it!

Have you seen TLM Directory? It is a plethora of lovely places, people, products and services all personally recommended by me (although I am not responsible if anything goes wrong! *wallace smile) Enjoy xx

Jumpers With Detail

There is nothing better than a cosy jumper to throw on when you are in a rush and don’t have time to check yourself out in the mirror. Here are a few jumpers that feel as good as they look and the subtle detail on each of them will make you stand out from the (at times – very muted!) crowd.

Ladies Light Grey Cashmere with Neon Green and Yellow £140 Little Leggies Gorgeous cashmere jumpers and also worth looking at the section for the little ones.

Love Thy Neighbourhood – Golborne £60 On The Rise Store A choice of neon colour and Borough – come in ‘mini me’ styles too. Although Fulham doesn’t quite make the grade. Unsuprisingly.

Scatter Star Jumper £85 Hush You can’t fail with a Star Jumper!

Pleated Back Jumper £55 Cos You could play hide and seek in this back – LOVE

Cobalt Leapard Sweater £118 J Crew As the nights draw in, animal print will see you from day to night.

Evi Pullover £90 Anthropolgie Lovely pop of colour, consistently delivered from Anthropologie

Zip Sleeve Jumper £59 Boden I love the zip detail on the wrists and the contrasting ‘collars and cuffs’.

BONNIE: Pure Wool Jumpers

Antonia set up BONNIE after an unsuccessful search for a pure wool cardigan for one of her daughters.  The high street knitwear was a synthetic mix which she knew wasn’t going to last, wouldn’t be warm and she wasn’t prepared to buy cashmere at cashmere prices … ‘you have to grow into that’ she exclaimed!

All the BONNIE designs were drawn at her kitchen table and were then lovingly made in a Scottish mill in the Borders. BONNIE jumpers are very soft, come in great styles and colours.  Most importantly are machine washable.  You really can wear them everyday.  Mothers and children alike love them because they are sensibly priced, look fabulous and the wool warm & durable.

The quality, price and timeless style creates a wonderful line and would be a great addition to a child’s wardrobe. I’m hoping she starts a line for adults!
