If you drive with children to Cornwall from London in one hit from – hats off to you. We tried once but two hours into the journey we slowed down at a roundabout and out came a voice from the shadows ‘are we there yet?’ only for 2/3 mignons to wake up and stay awake for the rest of the journey (disruptively I add).
Gail and Peter’s family run bed and breakfast in the heart of Mere, is perfectly placed to get the main load of the journey out the way and prepare you for second leg after a comfortable night sleep and a hearty breakfast. No need to unpack the baby paraphanalia from the car either as they are well equipped for families. They also have toys and a safe area for little ones to play!
